Saddle Gallery was founded to bring clarity, integrity, and fit expertise to the luxury pre-owned saddle market.
Buying or selling a saddle is not simply a transaction—it's a decision that affects horse’s comfort, soundness, and performance. Yet much of the high-end saddle resale space still prioritizes speed over fit, and volume over transparency.
Saddle Gallery offers a fit-first, horse-centered resale experience, emphasizing clear condition standards, informed guidance, and realistic expectations. This allows buyers to move forward with confidence and sellers to transition saddles responsibly.
We believe the right saddle should feel considered, not rushed.
Our Fit-First Philosophy
Correct saddle fit is foundational to horse welfare and rider performance.
Saddle Gallery supports a more informed approach to saddle matching—helping riders understand how saddle structure interacts with the horse’s anatomy, balance, and weight-bearing areas. Our process is designed to reduce guesswork in the secondary saddle market, where clarity matters most.
Fit considerations include:
- Appropriate wither and pommel clearance
- Balanced weight distribution within the thoracic region
- Clear gullet space to protect the spine and soft tissue
- Panel contact that supports the long back muscles
Professional virtual saddle fitting services are available for riders seeking additional, personalized guidance.
