Consign Your Saddle

Thank you for considering Saddle Gallery to sell your saddle.

  • Non-exclusive consignment.  The saddle remains in your possession until potential buyer pays in full, and it is sent on a 7-day trial

Our consignment fee is 20% and will be deducted from the sale price when the saddle is sold.

Step 1: Please fill out our consignment form to the best of your ability

In addition to the filled out application we will need photos of the Following: 

  • The upper and sweat flap (both top and bottom)
  • Seat
  • Billets
  • Any blemishes, excessive wear or damages
  • The serial number (located underneath the flap)

 

These photographs will enable us to provide a fair market value and recommended price of your saddle.

***Kindly ensure that these photos are taken in a well-lit area to facilitate a thorough assessment.

 

Step 3: Our saddle specialists will review your application and let you know if we have a market for your saddle. 

 

Step 4: Once your saddle has been approved we will provide an agreement which includes the recommended selling price and other terms of working with Saddle Gallery

 

Step 5:  Saddle Gallery will market and promote your saddle online and offline to reach the maximum audience. 

 

Step 6:  When a potential buyer contacts Saddle Gallery about your saddle, and pays for the saddle in full with a credit card, Venmo or Paypal.  Saddle Gallery will send the seller a prepaid FedEx label to ship the saddle.  The label will include insurance up to the agreed upon purchase price.  The seller agrees to ship the saddle within 48 hours of receiving the label.  The buyer will have seven (7) days to try the saddle, which starts after the saddle is received by the buyer.  At the end day seven (7) the sale becomes final unless the buyer has notified Saddle Gallery that they need a return prepaid label to return the saddle.  

 

Step  7:  Saddle Gallery will pay the seller the agreed upon sales prices less the 20% commission within 20 days of the sale being finalized with the buyer.

If at any point the saddle becomes unavailable, the buyer will notify Saddle Gallery so the listing can be removed from inventory.

 Pricing: Our recommended prices are based on current market value. You are welcome to suggest a selling price, as you are the owner of the saddle.  Saddle Gallery reserves the right to not accept a saddle for consignment if we do not agree on the sale price.
